SNI INSight June 2022
04.07.2022The new issue of SNI INSight, the electronic magazine of the Swiss Nanoscience Institute, has been published.
Find out more about changes coming to the SNI's management, about the new SNI Director Martino Poggio and the new Vice Director Patrick Maletinsky, as well as the members of the SNI management who will together lead the SNI from August 1.
We also introduce the two winners of the best master's thesis in nanoscience at the University of Basel and report on the Nano Argovia projects that started at the beginning of the year and the newly founded Nano Fabrication Lab.
In addition, there were numerous events that we inform about, such as the inauguration of the new transmission electron microscope in the Nano Imaging Lab or the opening of the Electron Diffraction Experience Center of the company ELDICO Scientific in Basel. We also report on activities as part of the SNI's public relations work. For example, the SNI offers craft kits and instructions for experiments with UV beads to help children develop an awareness of UV radiation.
