Entering Commercialization and Industrial Scaling

Treeless is currently entering its commercialization phase, with reputed customers already engaged in commercial co-development projects and a growing pipeline of industrial partnerships.

The company is initially focusing on cosmetics and sustainable adhesives — markets where biotechnology-derived functional ingredients and high-performance biomaterials are increasingly in demand. The company is approaching commercial market entry, with its first products currently in advanced development and customer testing and validation.

Treeless has already proven its core production technology and is currently building an automated pilot smart factory in Switzerland. Strong Investor Confidence

The CHF 1.2 million financing round attracted experienced business angels and family offices with backgrounds in industrial scaling, manufacturing, finance and advanced materials. A substantial part of the round was supported by reinvestments from existing shareholders, demonstrating strong confidence in Treeless’ progress and long-term potential. The oversubscribed round further reflects growing investor interest in sustainable biotech material technologies.

Treeless will use the newly raised funds to:

The company has already secured significant non-dilutive funding from organizations including Innosuisse, the European Innovation Council (EIC), the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN), the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Program, the Swiss Re Foundation and Foundation Valery. Treeless has also received recognition through several prestigious startup and innovation awards, including the W.A. de Vigier Award. 

In parallel, the company has advanced patent-pending technologies and built a multidisciplinary team spanning expertise in biomaterials and polymer chemistry, biotechnology, automation, formulation science, industrialization and finance. Treeless is further supported by experienced entrepreneurs, former industry executives and innovation ecosystem partners including Innosuisse.
