SUMMARY:Materials IQ: Extreme Tribology
DESCRIPTION:Our new Materials IQ workshop will focus on on the cutting-edge
topic of «Extreme Tribology». The attendees will gain an insight into curr
ent requirements and innovative solutions for tribological systems in extre
me operating and environmental conditions. This includes very high speeds (
E-drives), start-stop type motion (robotics), very high loads, and extreme
temperatures.\n\nThe workshop will focus on specific tribological challenge
s drived by recent high-tech applications such as:\n\n E-mobility, electri
c motors and gearboxes H2 drives and mobility Industrial robotics, automa
tion and fast production systems Wear-resistant and lubricative coatings
 – applications in the areas described above Energy efficiency in tribology
to contribute versus a net zero carbon world \n\nWe are happy to announce
a lineup of high-profile speakers from industrial and academic research, co
vering these important topics. Based on relevant use cases, they will demon
strate innovative testing, materials and coating concepts to solve the new
challenges.\n\nThis event is aimed at researchers, engineers and practition
ers concerned with friction, wear and lubrication for advanced industrial a
nd mobility use. Further target groups include technology experts from the
fields of sensors and actuators, as well as circular economy.\n\nParticipat
ion is free of charge. We look forward to welcoming you to Brugg after the
 summer break!
