This prestigious program aims to foster applied research projects by facilitating collaboration between public research institutions and industrial partners in Northwestern Switzerland.
About the Nano-Argovia Program
The Nano-Argovia program is designed to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application. By promoting partnerships between leading research institutions and industry, the program seeks to drive innovation and technological advancement in the region.
Participating institutions
Project applications can be submitted by companies (SMEs, start-ups, large companies) from the following cantons:
- Aargau (at least 50% of project applications need tocome from Aargau)
- Both Basel Cantons
- Solothurn
In addition to the company, a project application requires two public research institutions that are eligible to participate in the Nano-Argovia program:
- University of Basel
- FHNW (University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland)
- PSI (Paul Scherrer Institute)
- ANAXAM
- Swiss PIC
- CSEM Allschwil
- D-BSSE ETH Basel (Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering, ETH Zurich)
