Dialog Nanotechnology: Safe and Sustainable-by-Design / Recyclable Design

Cluster Nanotechnologie Nanoinitiative Bayern GmbH

For consumer acceptance and regulatory compliance, new products must not only offer innovative solutions, but also be safe and sustainable. Therefore, it is advantageous for the innovators to consider the safety and sustainability aspects of new products from the beginning of the development process. In reality, these aspects are often taken into account too late, once new products and applications have been developed. It is important to consider these aspects before making serious investments, while keeping in mind the whole life cycle of the products, including the recycling of nano-products.
